RSS feed
Also called: Rich Site Summary(RSS) or Really Simple Syndication(RSS)
An RSS feed is an XML file according to a fixed standard, which allows information from a Web site, for example a list of current news articles, to be shared with other sites and applications. The structured structure allows third parties to process this information in a flexible manner.
Thanks to RSS, for example, it is relatively easy to publish a list of recent articles from a particular site. There are also special RSS readers, which make it possible to follow the latest news from a particular site through your PC or smartphone, without having to visit that site over and over again.
