In one or more lines, the caption provides a description of what is visible in the image or the relationship between a photo and the content of an article.

Captions are used to attract attention, add humor, convey an emotion or simply to clarify the image. Nowadays, captions are widely used on social media platforms like Instagram. Here, people add a line of text to their photo to give more context about it.
