Header
A header is a term that has multiple meanings. For one thing, the term header is used to indicate the top of a Web page. The information that can be found on it will, in most cases, be found on all pages of the website or a web store.
In this case, the header is then used to highlight a logo or a brand name. Of course, this can be combined with a slogan. In this choice, the header is used as a branding tool. Also, other fixed elements can be added to the header such as subcategories or contact information. The latter elements can also be incorporated into the footer of the online platform.
What are HTML headers?
HTML headers have the function of allowing Web crawlers to easily scan the Web page so that an image can be formed about its content. HTML header tags are used across the entire page distinguishing between H1 titles (also called the title tag), H2 subtitles and H3 headers.
The distinction between headings and sub-headings is important not only for the search engine optimization of the website but also to dynamically adjust the layout of the web page to make it more readable.
