By web design, we specifically mean the design of websites.
A Web designer usually provides the design of a new Web site in a graphics package such as Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. Then, once approved by the client, this design is converted to html code and css formatting so that it can be displayed in a web browser and the website can be provided with the desired pages and content.
