A Web site 's navigation is a recurring element on each page that allows visitors to navigate between different pages of the Web sites using hyperlinks.
Usually the navigation takes the form of a horizontal or vertical menu. Sometimes a drop-down menu with underlying items appears when the visitor hovers over the buttons of the navigation.
When using a cms, navigation is often automatically generated based on the pages created within the website.
