Payment threshold
A payment threshold means that payouts are made only once a certain account balance is reached. Many affiliate networks and other ad networks use a payment threshold for payouts to their publishers.
These networks usually pay out generated revenue monthly. A payment threshold prevents having to pay out small amounts over and over again to publishers with little monthly revenue. Affiliate networks can operate more efficiently as a result. As long as the payment threshold is not met, the account balance shifts to the next month.
