Server-side
The term server-side refers to the side from which Internet technology is used. As the name implies, in this case it refers to the web server side. This is net computer system on which run the digital programs that allow websites to run. In practice, this means that the moment you click on a Web site, you trigger the server-side. In that case, you as a user will be redirected to the Web server via the Internet so that the Web site can be loaded and then viewed. Thus, a server is a computer (program) that provides services to clients. So the visitor to the website is on the client-side; the Web server is the server-side.
