Unique combination of four sets of digits separated by dots. IP stands for Internet Protocol. The IP address is a unique address of each computer connected to the Internet and ensures a PC's unique and traceable location.
This address is used to handle traffic on the Internet, but also, for example, to distinguish visitors when analyzing statistics on the use of a website.
