Server-side cookies
Server-side cookies is a term for the extra bits of code or information that are added from a server to a requested Web site to store information locally. Indeed, cookies are text or information files that can be used to distinguish an individual visitor to a platform. A distinction can be made that relates to where Internet technology is used, i.e., where cookie dropping occurs. If the form and/or content of the website is manipulated within the browser of the visitor/user, it is client-side. Server-side cookies are thus added from the server. These cookies are added to analyze website usage. Cookies are generally harmless and in most cases have a lifetime. These extra pieces of code or information will be automatically deleted when the browser is closed. Cookies that store login information will remain on the computer for a longer period of time if they are not deleted.
