Asynchronous communication
Asynchronous communication is a form of communication where the messages between them are not shared in real time but intermittently. A non-synchronous communication occurs when using email or whatsapp, among others. The opposite of asynchronous communication is synchronous communication where there is a direct exchange of mutual messages. This is the case, for example, in a video call or a face-to-face meeting between two people. This direct communication is not necessarily better quality. Asynchronous communication provides opportunities to take in the information, process the message and give the best response for you without time pressure. This rushed feeling can occur in the case of synchronous communication, however.
