Apache server

An apache server is an open source web server used to host websites in operating systems such as Windows, macOS, Linux and other Unix related systems. This server is also called Apache HTTP server or HTTPD and is used in conjunction with various databases, scripting languages, programming languages and template languages. Apache has a large market share. This means that many domains use this server. Several Apache versions have been released. The more recent the version, the better operating systems can run on it. In addition, Apache offers a large number of modules that greatly enhance the level of user-friendliness of using the server.
