Retargeting
Retargeting is a form of behavioral targeting that invites potential customers to return to the advertiser's website. The visitor is shown banners or text links of the advertiser on other websites after visiting and leaving the advertiser's website. This type of targeting is possible thanks to a link between the advertiser's website and the ad network serving the ads.
Thanks to retargeting, visitors who have exited can still be enticed into a conversion.
