Retouch
Retouching is the editing of images or film images with the aim of making them more beautiful.
Editing can include removing irregularities and damage, adding enhancements and correcting colors. If the purpose of retouching is to change the content then this is a form of image manipulation. Images can be photographs or paintings, for example.
Photos are often digitally retouched to make the representation more beautiful. This photoshoping is done a lot in model photography, for example, where then the skin and sometimes the figure are made more beautiful.
