SERPs

The term SERP is an abbreviation of the term Search Engine Results Page. This term can be translated into Dutch as "the search engine results page." This is the name for the page on which the search results based on the specified query are displayed by the search engines (such as Google and Bing). These pages consist of the advertisements(GoogleAds), followed by the organic search results.
Construction of SERPs
The Search Engine Results Pages (the search results pages) can be constructed in different ways. The construction of the SERPs depends in part on the policies of the search engine itself (the division between ads and organic search results) but also on the characteristic features of the search query. There are searches where videos come up prominently or results from Google maps. If the search is clearly for a local provider, results from Google Places (regional search results) come up somewhat more prominently.
