MoFU: Middle Of Funnel
MoFU stands for "Middle Of Funnel." The MoFU stage in the customer journey usually follows after the top of funnel (ToFU) stage, where potential customers are not yet familiar with the brand or product, and prior to the bottom of funnel (BoFU) stage, where potential customers are ready to proceed to purchase. MoFu thus refers to the middle part of the customer journey, where potential customers are already familiar with the brand or product, but are not yet fully convinced to proceed to purchase.
MoFU marketing for higher conversion rates
At the MoFU stage, marketers focus on providing valuable information to potential customers to help them in their decision-making process. This can include offering detailed product information, customer reviews and competitor comparisons. The goal of MoFU marketing is to inform potential customers and help them make the right decision. By providing them with useful information at this stage of the customer journey, marketers increase the likelihood that they will eventually make a purchase.
An effective MoFU strategy can lead to increased conversion and customer loyalty. By properly informing and supporting potential customers in their decision-making process, marketers increase the likelihood that they will ultimately purchase and possibly even return for repeat purchases.
