Deeplink
A deep link or deeplink is a hyperlink to a specific page within a Web site (i.e., not the home page). A deep link takes the visitor directly to a specific section of a Web site.
It is common for Web sites to have links not only to the home page. Therefore, when working on link building, it is wise to suggest pages other than the home page when approaching webmasters with link requests.
When determining the structure of the Web site, it is also wise to realize that a Web site does not read like a book. Visitors do not necessarily enter through the home page. Therefore, provide plenty of internal navigation options/click paths.
