Instagram Stories

Instagram Stories is a feature of the social media platform Instagram. Instagram Stories, like the entire platform, is all about sharing photos and videos.
Since 2015, Instagram Stories has been one of the many features offered by Instagram. Instagram users can use this feature to share vertical photos and videos for 24 hours. Photos are visible for five seconds. Videos last up to 15 seconds. After 24 hours, stories disappear (they are automatically deleted). Instagram Stories is a convenient feature to show followers what you are doing during the day. Add text, music, stickers, locations, GIFs, question stickers, and polls for an extra dimension.
Instagram Stories can be viewed in the bar above the Instagram timeline. Because this bar is immediately visible as soon as Instagram is opened, stories are often viewed. The colorful circle around a user's profile picture shows that he or she has posted a story. Whether in the bar at the top, in the timeline, or on someone's profile page, you can click on the profile picture to view the Instagram Stories.
After posting a story, it does not appear in the gallery on your Instagram profile page. However, you can pin the stories in the "story highlight" at the top of your profile. This allows profile visitors to view the stories even after the 24 hours.
