Social selling index
Social selling index (SSI) is a score that indicates how a person profiles on LinkedIn. The social networking site shares a rating regarding usage on LinkedIn. This rating is made using 4 factors:
- Shaping a professional network
- Finding the right people and leveraging LinkedIn in the process
- The interactivity with others(content-oriented )
- Building relationships
The Social selling index indicator
SSI is a useful indicator that can be used to compare LinkedIn users among themselves. Thanks to the social selling index, you get more insights into how to get more return from the platform. It must be kept in mind, however, that a higher SSI score is an end and not a means, because this is a comparison between variable elements. For example, the LinkedIn activity of large companies and self-employed people are compared. The Social Selling Index score is visible to every LinkedIn user, but it is linked to the Sales Navigator. This is a paid service from LinkedIn.
