Effective cost per click
Also called: eCPC or Earning Per Click(EPC)
Effective cost per click (eCPC) refers to the effective average cost per click. If ad placement is paid for based on impressions(CPM) or conversion(CPA), these costs are often converted to a result per click-through on the banner or text link.
The eCPC can be calculated by dividing the total cost to the advertiser by the number of clicks generated.
