Google AdSense
Google AdSense is a program of Google that targets Internet site publishers. By participating in Google AdSense, they can have advertising from advertisers from Google Ads placed on their websites. Google shares the revenue from these banners and text ads with the publisher, retaining a small percentage of margin.
Similar to sponsored search results in Google, Google AdSense ads are tailored to the content of the Web page in which they appear. In addition, Google uses behavioral targeting. This allows Google AdSense to display highly relevant ads on a website. This makes filling ad space with advertising from AdSense an interesting revenue model.
