Wordmark
Also called: logotype
A word mark is the textual part of a logo or figurative mark. The text of the word mark almost always consists of the brand name or company name. A slogan, for example, is also possible.
The text is formatted in colors and fonts characteristic of the company. An existing font, a modified existing font or specially designed letters can be used.
A logo can consist entirely of the word mark, which is the case, for example, of Google, Facebook, Hema and Blokker. A combination with a graphic part is also possible, such as a wordmark combined with a small image, monogram or lettermark. In a combination, the graphic part and the word mark can also occur separately.
