Alphanumeric
Alphanumeric means consisting of letters and numbers.
The "alpha" part refers to the alphabet and "numeric" refers to number. Alphanumeric combinations can consist of 36 different characters (26 letters and the numbers 0 to 9), or 62 when distinguishing between uppercase and lowercase letters.
For example, the term alphanumeric is used to indicate that a string (for example, a password) may consist only of numbers and letters.
