Corps
Also called: font size, font size or body height
Corps and font size are both terms from typography that refer to the height of the letters of a text. Corps is expressed in points or pixels. This measure refers to the distance from the top of stick letters to the bottom of tail letters.
With different fonts in the same corps, the size of the letters can still appear different. This is due to variations in the ratio of x-height to the length of sticks and tails.
Larger letters are more legible, but using larger letters means that fewer words will fit on the printed portion of a page. For running text, a font size of at least 10 points or 12 pixels should be maintained for good readability.
