Descending
Descending means that photographs, illustrations and/or background colors extend to the edge of the page. Thus, they continue beyond the printed part of the page, using the page margin.
To ensure that the image actually extends to the edge of the product, bleed is often used in printing. In this bleed, the design continues for a few millimeters, which is cut off after printing. This prevents the printed design from stopping too early or missing important information.
