Also called: lying
The term landscape refers to an image whose width is greater than its height. Landscape can also be used to indicate that a page and its content is oriented horizontally. The term landscape is derived from the fact that this ratio can be well used for depicting landscapes.
If the width is just smaller than the height, we call this portrait.
