White space
Also known as: white space
White space is the space of a document or page that is not filled with text and/or pictures. This space serves to make a text more readable and look organized and attractive.
White space can occur in the form of blank lines, as the margin of a page around the typesetting area, as vertical or horizontal space between text and images, as the blank space on an exit line, and as the space between letters and between lines.
