Stick letter
Also known as: ascender
A stick letteris a letter that extends as a lowercase letter in part above the x-height. The size of the sticks is expressed as the stick height.
The stick letters are: b, d, f, h, k, l and t.
Letters that extend just below the x-height are called tail letters.
