Autonomous growth
Also called: organic growth or proprietary growth
A company's organic growth is the increase in sales or profits without counting the growth resulting from acquisitions of other companies. Organic growth refers purely to the development of existing business results, or in other words, the increase in sales and production due to growth in the market and/or market share.
Filtering out "disruptive" factors such as acquisitions, mergers and divestitures from the results for organic growth is also referred to as organic growth.
