Elevator pitch
An elevator pitch briefly tells about a person, company, product or service and its unique characteristics. The term comes from an imaginary first meeting in an elevator. If the conversation is interesting enough in those few seconds, more may follow, such as the exchange of business cards or a business appointment.
Developing an elevator pitch is not only important to succinctly and convincingly present the qualities of a person, company, product or service. It is also used by organizations and within projects to make the mission concrete.
