Firefox
Besides Edge and Internet Explorer, Firefox is one of the most widely used Internet browsers. The free browser was developed by Mozilla Corporation with the help of volunteers. Over the years, Firefox has become increasingly popular. This is because it gives the option to download many additional types of software. One example is the FlashGot plugin, which allows you to easily download movies or audio. Another well-known extension is the Firebug for easily viewing the HTML code and CSS of the web page. In addition, the Firefox browser offers a number of hidden settings that make surfing the web just a little more pleasant, faster and efficient.
Firefox options and capabilities
In addition to Firebug and Flashgot, there are a number of other useful features offered by Firefox:
- Extensions - Firebug, Flashgot, Gmail checker and more are easily added to the Firefox web browser
- Bookmarks - With one click you can easily add pages to your favorites for quick retrieval
- Pop-up blocking - Easily keeps track of which websites you do not want opened while on a page
- Tabs - Work with multiple tabs simultaneously to quickly switch between pages
- On page search - Easily search for certain words on the page, especially for long pieces of text, this is very useful
- Themes - Choose from a variety of themes/templates to download to customize the Firefox Web browser to your liking
- Zoom in - Enlarge and reduce the web page without odd proportions with crtl- or crtl+
Firefox for marketers
Firefox decided to pull a provocative marketing stunt in 2019 to gain more users. The browser is deliberately trying to pollute the web analytics data of advertisers and publishers. This idea came out of the pain of users being constantly harassed with retargeting ads. You're probably familiar with it: you look at a pair of shoes, maybe even buy them. Then you are bombarded with that pair of shoes on almost every website or app.
Firefox hoped to win user loyalty by stopping retargeting campaigns. As a marketer, this is obviously a painful action. By applying remarketing, you can persuade customers to convert anyway. On the other hand, this can actually present a challenge. There are an awful lot of add-ons that can be added to the Web browser. This allows you to reach customers in other ways with the Firefox Web browser.
