VEA is the trade association for communications consulting firms.
VEA was founded in 1917 as the Association of Approved Advertising Agencies. The goal was to propagate the reliability and quality of the member agencies to media and advertisers. In addition, VEA assists members in various ways through advocacy and the distribution of knowledge and information.
VEA organizes various events and training courses every year. Together with BVA, VEA co-organizes the Effie Awards for effective marketing communications.
