A-location
An A-location is a retail or office location that is very attractive for businesses to locate there. For a retail store, this may be in a busy shopping street. For an office, it can be an easily accessible high visibility location along the highway.
A1 location and A2 location
Within retailing, the term A-location is generally divided into A1 locations and A2 locations. An A1 location is located in the center of a shopping area in a city or village, while an A2 location is more on the periphery. The A1 location relies mainly on the presence of many passing shoppers, while the A2 location can count on better accessibility due to the proximity of parking facilities.
An A-location is generally more attractive than B-locations and C-locations.
