Page view
Also called: pageview(PV)
A page view is the retrieval and display of an individual web page. During the visit to a website, several pages are usually viewed in succession. Each time a page is requested we can talk about a page view or pageview.
Page views can be measured with Web analytics tools such as Google Analytics. Such web statistics software typically uses cookies to link page views to visit sessions and unique visitors.
