Press kit
Also called: press kit or media kit
A press kit or press folder is a bundled collection of promotional materials about an organization or product that is distributed to the media. Distribution of a press kit is often linked to a press conference, press presentation or product launch.
Possible components of a press kit include: a press release, a brochure with background information and figures about the company, biographies of key people, photo materials, media contact information and sometimes samples of a product.
The press kit can literally take the form of a folder or a packet, but these days, of course, it can also be distributed digitally.
