Eyeballs is a marketing term referring to the number of people who come into contact with a brand or product, such as through a marketing campaign. The literal translation is eyeballs.
To reach as many eyeballs as possible with a campaign, it should use media that can reach the widest possible audience. Campaigns aimed at reaching many eyeballs are often designed to increase brand awareness. One method for this is to use prime-time television advertising.
