A cyan organization is one that is characterized by self-direction, the pursuit of an evolving goal and its participants are invited to be entirely themselves in their participation.
Within a cyan organization there is room to develop the intuitive and spiritual sides of human beings. This is a new phase in the evolution of organizations. Cyan organizations actively organize themselves around an evolving purpose that is constantly evolving.
This involves working toward the goal using an iterative process, the components of this process systematically repeating themselves to move forward step by step to achieve an objective (in this case, adding value to the world).
This uses advancing insight into the next phase. In this modern way of shaping an organization, there is no hierarchy and no need for consensus. The system assumes equal relationships.
