Vision
Also called: corporate vision
In a vision or vision statement, a company or organization describes its vision and ideals for the world, the future and its own role within it. This vision statement guides the direction of the organization. Since this is a medium- or long-term ambition, the vision can be adjusted over time to remain relevant and motivating.
The vision is often combined with a mission statement.
