Also called: concluding sentence
A bouncer is a catchy conclusion or final sentence of a text or advertisement. The purpose of the bouncer is to summarize the text and prompt the reader to a particular thought or action.
In recruiting texts, we distinguish three different phases: eye-catching, argumentative and bouncer. These phases align with the AIDA model, which aims to convince a reader to take an action.
Often the end of a text contains a reference to the beginning in order to complete the circle. A bouncer can help ensure that the message of the text sticks better.
