Voice actor
A voice actor is the person who voices texts for an advertising commercial, film or TV program.
When the voice actor assumes the role of narrator, it is also called voice-over. Voice actors can also be used for dubbing dialogue into another language or for the lyrics of the characters of an animation or cartoon. The rise of computer games and online explainer animations has given voice actors new markets in recent decades.
Not infrequently, people already known to the public are hired as voice actors. However, there are also many unknown individuals who have managed to build a career as in-demand voice actors or voice actresses.
