No-go
A no-go is the (formal) decision to abandon a plan. It may include, for example, not awarding a contract or withdrawing a marketing plan or campaign plan.
The moment when a final decision must be made on whether or not to proceed is often scheduled in advance as a go/no-go. If the decision is positive, there is a go.
A no-go can also refer to a choice or path that was decided not to take while making plans (or implementing them).
