Go
Also called: fiat, agreement or consent
A go is the (formal) decision to proceed with a plan. It could be, for example, awarding a contract or giving the green light to implement a marketing plan or campaign.
The moment when a final decision must be made on whether or not to proceed is often scheduled in advance as a go/no-go. If the decision is negative, it is a no-go.
During a consultation, for example, the question may be asked, "Do we have a go yet?" Formal agreement, such as signing an agreement, is also called agreeing.
