Early Majority
The Early Majority in Rogers' theory of innovation, along with the Late Majority, is the largest group of people who embrace an innovation. The Early Majority is preceded by the Innovators and the Early Adopters and is followed by the Late Majority. That is, they are relatively early in embracing a new innovation but some 16% -49% of people have already gone before them, or in other words they are just barely among the first half of people.
The Early Majority is characterized by above-average social status, contact with Early Adopters, but rarely have a leading role in the system of opinions. Thus, they are, as it were, the followers.
