Mobile marketing includes all means of marketing related to cell phones (including smartphones) and other mobile devices (such as tablets). For example, mobile marketing involves the use of text messages, QR codes, apps and mobile websites.
Because mobile marketing is not tied to place and time, it offers a unique combination of different application possibilities. Mobile media offer a number of unique opportunities, such as interactivity, personalization, localization (using GPS) and use of the (mobile) Internet.
