Window Sign
Also called: v-sign, brokerage sign or for-sale sign
A window sign is an advertising sign that can be attached to the outside of a window. Window signs are also called v-board or realtor sign. The sign consists of two sides, separated by a vertical fold, which have an edge on each side that allows the sign to be affixed to a window. It is attached to the glass using double-sided tape or suction cups.
The fact that window signs are placed in a v-shape on the window makes them stand out well from different sides. The attention value is many times higher than, for example, a poster behind the window. Because of this visibility and ease of placement and removal, they are often used by real estate agents for houses that are for sale. In recent years, they have also appeared in many homes where a baby has been born, as an alternative to the traditional stork in the garden or on the window.
Window signs are generally made of a plastic that is lightweight and at the same time weather-resistant, such as polypropylene channel board. As a result, the signs stick well and can be used longer and possibly multiple times. The advertising message is printed directly on the sign.
There are also window signs and brokerage signs that do not have a v-shape but are attached flat against the outside of the glass. These are still more noticeable than a poster behind the window while being less susceptible to weather conditions than a v-board.
