Inbound marketing
Inbound marketing is a form of marketing that assumes that potential customers can find a business on their own, without using advertisements, TV ads, telemarketing and direct mail. Those forms of marketing are also referred to as outbound marketing. Inbound marketing is not based on buying or attracting attention, but is focused on creating where and being where the customer is looking.
Some ways to do inbound marketing include writing blogs and offering other valuable content, and having it found through search engines(seo) and social media, for example. Concepts closely related to inbound marketing are content marketing and permission marketing.
