We all love discounts.
Especially when the discounts can be as high as 95%! And especially when you then get to test the product for two weeks and then return it without reason.
Well, if that seems interesting to you ... then you should give Pitchground a try.
Pitchground allows you to purchase software and tools at extreme discounts. Pitchground is the biggest competitor to deal site AppSumo.
I've written a review on that before. High time to also tell you all about it on Pitchground in this review.
I've reviewed Appsumo before, so it's also high time I also reviewed Pitchground and tell you all about the platform!
Pitchground is an organization that playfully markets developers of software and tools to end users. They do this by selling lifetime deals at high discounts and on attractive terms.
This allows us, the end users, to try out and test the software inexpensively.
Example software include various SEO tools, photo and video editing programs, social media management tools, anti-virus software and much more.
Basically any software you can think of, Pitchground offers in its deals.
Pitchground works with scarcity and time pressure. Deals are only available for a limited time, so you have to move quickly to make a purchase.
The deals you purchase are limited in its use, though. For example, you only get a license for 1 website or you can only analyze 200 keywords (should it be an SEO-related deal).
This is absolutely no problem for me. Because for $40 (that's how deals are often priced), I can try a tool and see if it's interesting for me and my clients.
Then, should it be really really good, I can always "stack" deals (stacking) so you get more options.
Let me explain that a bit more: certain deals you can purchase multiple times. This increases the options within your deal or gives you access to more websites, for example.
Or in the case of SEO software, that means you can track more keywords.
By now I have been using Pitchground for more than half a year, so I can list the pros and cons for you just fine:
Advantages:
So are there any drawbacks, I hear you thinking? Yes, there are!
Disadvantages:
Pitchground, like AppSumo, is not solely focused on online marketing software. However, those are the deals I enjoy purchasing the most.
Think SEO software, conversion optimization tools, lead generation programs and more. The deals I recently snapped up during Black Friday are:
