AppSumo is a website where you can score monthly lifetime deals on digital programs, services and products at great discounts.
So a kind of Social Deal, but a bit more focused on the business market and on digital services and products.
And no, that doesn't just mean unnecessary software that you're going to use once.

How does AppSumo work?
AppSumo is actually the connecting factor between a software company and the end user.
We are.
Through smart price agreements, AppSumo can offer the software incredibly cheaply, and we, as users, can gratefully take advantage of that.
By simply signing up for AppSumo's newsletter, you will get the deals delivered to your mailbox every month.
Small note: when a deal is extremely good or when the program is simply great, a deal may sell out.
So be quick about it.
On the other hand, AppSumo also just creates a scarcity that may make you even more inclined to purchase that deal.
Why I love AppSumo
I like tools and trying new things.
The more tools, the better!
And AppSumo responds to that need nicely.
For a small fee, you can try, test and deploy a software that is totally new to you for your business or your personal project.
On top of that, if, for example, the software does not work nicely or is not suitable for you, you can "return" the software within a certain amount of time.
AppSumo has a fine refund policy and so you just get your money back if you are not satisfied.

Advantages:

- You can "stack" deals. This means that you can buy multiple deals to get more features/abilities within your deal, for example.
Disadvantages:
- Sometimes a deal only has limited features and you are brought in with a "lure. You can then upgrade to a more expensive and monthly paid subscription.
- The best deals can sometimes sell out very quickly

AppSumo has made sure I know a lot of tools.
Take for example Serpstat or Accuranker.
I was so pleased with both deals that I even devoted an entire blog article to them.
But in the past there have also been deals for Keyword Hero, All-in-One SEO Pack and RankWatch, for example.
