Unfortunately, all-in-one SEO tools easily cost $150 per month....

That's why I was incredibly happy when Leon Katz of Creative Team informed me of a super great offer from AppSumo: lifetime access to an all-in-one SEO tool for a one-time fee of 33 euros. (Yes, you read correctly: only 33 euros)

That all-in-one SEO tool is called Serpstat.

And after 3 months of working with Serpstat, I think it's high time for a review.

What is an all-in-one SEO tool?

An all-in-one SEO tool is a program that monitors all the key elements (technique, content, authority) of search engine optimization in one convenient environment.

With these tools, for example, managing your link profile, checking your positions, checking technology is a piece of cake.

And that is why an all-in-one SEO tool is actually a must for anyone who is serious and active online.

Back to the beginning: what is Serpstat and what can you do with it?

Serpstat describes itself as a "Growth Hacking Tool," but I don't think that's entirely accurate.

This is a trendy term that is overused these days.

In fact, Serpstat does not focus on Growth Hacking, but on search engine optimization.

In addition, Serpstat also describes itself as "All-in-One SEO platform for professionals," which I can totally relate to.

In fact, you must have some online marketing knowledge if you want to understand the program and be able to use it fully.

A word about Serpstat ...

Serpstat was founded in 2013 as a keyword research program, but has grown tremendously since then.

As the demand for functionalities increased, more and more functionalities were added.

And as of August 2016, Serpstat has transformed into an all-in-one SEO tool with 5 essential tools for those engaged in online.

Below is a video from Serpstat themselves, where they explain exactly what they do!

The 5 functionalities of Serpstat

Serpstat actually has 5 functionalities:

  • Website Analysis (Website Analysis)
  • Keyword Research.
  • Backlink Analysis (Backlink Analysis
  • Position monitoring (Rank Tracker)
  • Website check (Site Audit)

When you are logged into Serpstat you will see those functionalities listed on the left (See image below).

Serpstat capabilities

Since I mainly want to share what I think of Serpstat and not dwell too long on all the specific features, I'm going to briefly explain for each functionality exactly what you can do with it.

Website analysis
Website analysis allows you to analyze a URL/domain by positions, competitors, domain vs. domain, subdomains and best pages, among other things.

Keyword research
Serpstat's keyword research allows you to learn more about the keyword based on organic search terms and paid search terms. Think volume, competitors, best scoring pages, related search terms, suggestions and ad examples.

Backlink analysis
Backlink analysis allows you to understand where your links come from, how many links you have, what the anchor text is, which links you lost and which links you gained.

Position monitoring
I am a big fan of Serpstat's rank tracker. With this functionality you can find out by country, language, province, city, search engine and device at what spot you rank within the organic search results.

Website check
Serpstat's Site Audit is also very comprehensive. It is a scan that completely checks your website for all elements that fall under technology and content.

What does Serpstat cost?

As I indicated, I spent 33 euros for a lifetime access to Serpstat.

To find out exactly what lifelong is, I delved into Serpstat's terms and conditions.

At Serpstat, lifetime access means having access to the tool for 100 years.

Unfortunately, the offer is no longer valid now and you have to make do with Serpstat's monthly prices.

These are as follows:

Serpstat prices

Each plan has different functionalities, and to be perfectly honest, Plan A contains too few of them.

So if you want to use Serpstat you will pay $69 a month.

Here 20% goes off if you subscribe annually and here 40% can go off if you subscribe for 3 years.

But I advise against that.

Functionalities of my lifetime access for 33 euros

For a one-time 33 euros, unfortunately, I can track fewer keywords than Serpstat's Plan A, which is very unfortunate.

But I do have all the functionality of Plan B again, which is incredibly convenient.

Therefore, the lifetime access I purchased for 33 euros is incredibly useful for the small business owner who is engaged in online.

You can use all the features, but in terms of volume, you don't need much anyway.

Advantages and disadvantages of Serpstat

I always look at something from the positive side, which is why I'm going to start with the benefits.

If I had to give Serpstat a grade, it would be a 7.5!

I think for the 33 euros I paid it is an incredibly fine tool, especially since I use it daily and have gotten a lot out of it.

Unfortunately, that offer is no longer valid and Serpstat now costs at least $19 per month.

Benefits of Serpstat:

  • Compared to competitors, Serpstat is not expensive
  • Customer service always responds within 5 minutes
  • The tool offers an awful lot of new insights
  • With Plan B, you can add an unlimited number of domains. With MOZ and Semrush, this is possible when you pay hundreds of dollars....
  • New features are being added all the time
  • The tool is clear and contains little fuss

Disadvantages of Serpstat

  • Sometimes Rank Tracker's search volumes don't add up
  • Once you have paid 33 euros for lifetime access, they try to persuade you every month to upgrade the plan through discount codes(Don't do this, you will lose the lifetime access)
  • Sometimes you get an error within Serpstat and the program can sometimes be slow
  • Actually, I do not use 2 functionalities within Serpstat because I use other tools for this.

Conclusion review Serpstat

To be perfectly honest, I think Serpstat is a super nice tool for the 33 euros I paid.

The program has already made its money 10 times over and I regret not buying more lifetime access codes.

Every large organization and every online marketer simply needs an all-in-one SEO tool and that's where Serpstat really comes in handy.

If you have the financial means I will always recommend MOZ or Semrush, but Serpstat is definitely a good first step.

Personally, I don't know if I would pay $69 a month for Serpstat, but for now I am thickly satisfied with the tool.
