10 questions for Gert Bos

On Valentine's Day, he started at OMA as an Online Marketer. Get to know Gert through 10 questions we asked him.

Question 1: Who is Gert?

I am 27 years old and have been living in Ede all my life. I grew up there together with my two little sisters. Or well, small they can no longer be called small. Since 2021 I have my own house there, together with my girlfriend. Furthermore, I am quiet, honest, a tad curious and have an incredibly bad sense of humor. Word jokes are the best jokes. Right?

Question 2: What are your hobbies?

Besides the fact that I do enjoy a game and good food, I also find history very interesting. Especially the First and Second World War. I have watched a lot of movies and documentaries, read books, listened to podcasts and visited museums. If you have another good tip? Let me know! I also like to visit important places from this gloomy piece of history (think of the Ardennes, Normandy etc.).

Question 3: Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Hopefully by then I will be in possession of an incredibly cute Golden Retriever. That one is high on the bucket list, though. I've always wanted to visit the West Coast of America, so hopefully that trip will also be checked off the list. Of course I will still enjoy working at OMA and continue to develop myself both personally and online.

Question 4: What do you like to do on weekends?

On weekends, I like to play games. Both behind the PC and at the kitchen table. I also enjoy eating out and relaxing on the couch watching Netflix, Videoland or Disney Plus. Formula 1 is also never skipped! Meanwhile, I like to have a beer with some friends.

Question 5: What is your favorite social media channel?

Twitter. Mainly because it allows you to quickly catch up on the latest news and crazy facts. I also always watch some YouTube videos before bed.

Question 6: What is your favorite music?

Poe, you're asking me a question there. Actually that runs from hardstyle to André Hazes and from Eminem to Linkin Park. So many different genres! My Spotify list is called "Random Music".

Question 7: What is your favorite travel destination?

America! Several years ago I visited New York and it was an experience I won't soon forget. I would love to go back. I also enjoy sun, sea and beaches. Wherever that is!

Question 8: How did you like your first week at OMA?

Super good! Lots of new impressions and faces. I was well taken care of and immediately noticed an incredibly fun and open atmosphere. The OMA starter kit was a very pleasant surprise. The hoodie fits like a glove and I can get coffee in style with my OMA mug. Speaking of the coffee, it is delicious. Also not unimportant!

Question 9: What will be your role within OMA?

I am working as an Online Marketer at OMA. That means I get to work optimizing websites, setting up and analyzing Socials Ads, and supporting and advising clients. Basically everything. Who knows, maybe we'll talk soon!

Question 10: What is your specialization within OMA?

In the online marketing field, my interests are very broad. I hope to specialize more in Social Ads and website optimization. I am looking forward to learn a lot and to continue to develop myself into an even better online marketer.
