10 questions for Justin de Groot

This is Justin and he recently started as an online marketer at OMA. Time to ask him the ropes.

Question 1: Who is Justin de Groot

Aloha!!! My name is Justin de Groot, 24 years old and I am from Ede. I am the youngest (by far) in the family. So I have an older brother and sister. That also makes me 'uncle Justin' several times. I really love sports and can be found in the gym a lot.

Question 2: What are your hobbies

At the number one spot is motorcycling. Weather permitting, I like to go for a spin with my love on two wheels. Preferably with friends. Sundays are always reserved for MotoGP. The rest of my free time I like to spend in the gym, on the soccer field or by going out with friends.

Question 3: Where do you see yourself in five years?

In 5 years, hopefully I will have learned a lot and achieved great results in online marketing. Buying my own house is also at the top of my list of future plans. In addition, I also don't rule out taking another nice trip!

Question 4: What do you like to do on weekends?

On Saturdays you will find me on the soccer field playing a game, but I prefer to spend my weekend on the motorcycle. Getting out and about and visiting places that make you think: "HUH? Does this exist?". I am a real fair-weather rider. One splash of rain and you don't have to call me anymore. Then the television goes on for MotoGP.

Question 5: What is your favorite social media channel?

YouTube!!! I can entertain myself for hours with anything about motorcycles, soccer and fitness. I love watching back the best battles of my favorite motorcycle racers Marc Márquez and Toprak Razgatlioğlu (tip: "try pronouncing the latter without tripping over your tongue ;-)).

Question 6: What is your favorite music?

If we're going to talk about music, I'm really a jack-of-all-trades. I love listening to techno at the gym, but I also love some ripping guitars. I enjoy discovering as much new music and artists as possible, but Charlotte de Witte, Eminem and Linkin Park are really my go-to artists.

Question 7: What is your favorite travel destination?

This is a tricky one. I have a few: London, Barcelona and Prague. In the spring of 2024, L.A. is on the schedule. But if I'm honest, Patagonia is really at the top of my bucket list. That's a region in southern Argentina. Look it up and you'll see why I want to go there!

Question 8: How did you like your first week at OMA?

My first week at OMA was packed with impressions! I immediately felt part of the team during the first week. You are immediately involved in everything. It is very instructive from the very first moment and I am looking forward to learning even more!

Question 9: What is your role within OMA?

I am an online marketer at OMA. I will be dealing with all kinds of facets of online marketing. Fun, because that's where I learn the most!

Question 10: What is your specialty within OMA?

Currently, I don't have a specialization yet. I really enjoy SEO and social media, but I'm actually still at the beginning of my journey through the world of online marketing. On the contrary, maybe in a few months you'll see me setting up Google Ads campaigns!
